The president of Greece is in hot water after an employment application he submitted was leaked by a London McDonald's franchise.
"I want to apologize to the people of Hellenic Republic," said President Karolos Papoulias.
"I just thought I should have a backup plan."
After a three year debt crisis, over 20% unemployment and being on the verge of getting kicked out of the eurozone, no Greek citizens were surprised at their president's plan to defect.
Papoulias indicated that he would be willing to work 30 to 35 hours per week, but wouldn't be available on nights or weekends.
"That was a dealbreaker," said McDonald's general manager Willie Shreeberry.
Papoulias also remarked in the comment section that he thought he was qualified to start as an assistant manager.
"But I do not want as the resonsibility of to be the store manager." he wrote.
